Continuous Residential Supports

DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITY PROGRAMS

Individualized services for independent living

Continuous Residential Supports programs (CRS) are shared living arrangements for intellectually disabled individuals who may have a coexisting psychiatric disability.

Residents are provided with apartments and personalized program planning to meet specialized needs. Continuum also provides home-based intensive day programs when needed. Staff assist residents with personal and medical needs, daily living skills, medication administration, relationship building, self-advocacy, and future dream building.

Residents actively participate in their community through group activities, recreation, and volunteering opportunities with organizations like Foodshare. Some CRS residents are employed through Continuum and perform duties such as sorting donations and mail at the administrative office and working on the facilities maintenance crew. The ultimate goal is to ensure that all individuals are given an opportunity to voice their desires and develop the skills necessary to optimize their quality of life.
