New Haven Halfway House

The New Haven Halfway House provides 24-hour on-site staff support to individuals in need of extensive support services and seeking to acquire community living skills in a congregate living setting — residents have their own rooms. NHHH addresses individual needs and preferences in a spacious home with a communal kitchen, dining, and living rooms, and facilities dedicated to social and recreational activities. Residents are provided with 40 hours of weekly life skills training.

  • Individual services determined by the client & the full client treatment team
  • Daily psychoeducational groups
  • Treatment collaboration with area providers 
  • Linkages to shared apartments or independent housing

Intensive Supportive Living Program

The Intensive Supportive Living Program provides 24-hour on-site staff support to individuals in need of a supervised apartment setting rather than a traditional group home. Residents have their own rooms and share bathrooms, a kitchen, and common areas. Individuals are provided a range of apartment-based services that include case management, comprehensive functional assessments, individualized life skills training, on-site support groups, and clinical services through the Connecticut Mental Health Center.
